Dalloz Rd.
This Forest Acres ranch style home was in great shape when we acquired the property. But, like most of our renovations, it was outdated and needed a cosmetic update.
We replaced the duct work under the home; replaced the hazardous Federal Pacific electrical panel and updated the electrical throughout the home, complete with new switches, outlets, and light fixtures; opened up the doorway between the kitchen and dining room for ease and to bring in more light; renovated the kitchen with new quartz countertops, marble backsplash, stainless steel appliances and luxury vinyl tile; completely renovated the master bathroom with a custom, curbless tile shower; removed all of the blue, green, red and pink carpet to expose and refinish the original 1962 hardwoods; and added a fresh coat of paint on the interior and exterior to make a gorgeous home in a desirable area of Columbia.
A couple features of the home I like: in the basement there is a spacious workshop that has a full door that enters into the crawlspace. Also - The kitchen! When we bought the home I was not a fan of the kitchen cabinets. They are great quality, but not the clean white I like to add to a higher end home. We kept the cabinets and matched it up with quartz tops and marble backsplash and I couldn’t be happier with the end result.
