Klapman Rd.
This 3,000 square foot home was previously owned by a hoarder whom left the home vacant for years. When we looked at purchasing the property, it was condemned and 2 weeks away from the city having it torn down. There were holes in the roof that allowed water to pour in, causing extensive rot damage throughout the home as well as entry for a family of racoons that had lived in the home for years.
This home was mostly taken down to the studs on the inside and outside and needed main structural component repairs with updates to the electrical, plumbing and insulation; replacement of the HVAC system, floors, sheetrock, kitchen, bathrooms, siding, windows, and roof. We built on a back porch, added a driveway, garage door and underwent extensive landscaping complete with irrigation.
By the time it was all said and done we had filled 13 30 yard dumpsters, extracted 4 baby racoons and converted a pile of junk into a beautiful home.
My favorite feature of the home: The back porch that looks over the pond.
